Questions
What happens when the trial ends?
Every device can still read your vault. Sending changes needs a plan. If a payment fails, sync keeps working for 14 days while you sort it out.
Can you see my hosts or keys?
No. The server stores ciphertext, public keys and slow hashes of secrets your app derives. It never receives your master password or a key that decrypts your vault.
Can I move to my own server later?
Yes. morphgate.com and the reference server speak the same vault-sync/v1 protocol. Disconnect sync in the app, then turn it on again with your server’s address.
How do seats work?
Each confirmed member takes a seat, and the seat covers their personal vault too. Team and Business start at 3 seats. You can invite more people than you have seats; you confirm them once you add seats.
How do I pay?
By card, through Stripe, in euros, US dollars or pounds. Change your plan or seats, update the card or download invoices from your account page.
Do I need an account to use the app?
No. Without one, your vault stays on your machine, encrypted with your master password. Add sync whenever you want it.
